Ultrasonic plastic welding machine is composed of pneumatic drive system, control system, ultrasonic generator, transducer, tool head and mechanical devices.
1. Pneumatic transmission system
Includes: Niigata device, pressure relief valve, oil mist, commutator, throttle valve, cylinder, etc.
When working, the stroke cylinder is first driven by the air compressor to drive the ultrasonic transducer vibration system to move up and down. The dynamic pressure is set according to the welding needs in the small and medium power ultrasonic welding.
2. Control system
The control system consists of time relay or integrated circuit time timer. The main functions are as follows: one is to control the work of the gas transmission system, so that the gas valve can be opened under the timing control during welding, the cylinder pressure makes the welding head drop, and the welding object is pressed under a certain pressure. When the welding is finished, the pressure is maintained for a period of time, and then the control system will reverse the gas valve to make the welding head recover and reset; The second is to control the working time of the ultrasonic generator, and only start the button to generate a trigger pulse during operation, which can automatically complete the whole welding process. The sequence of the whole control system is as follows: the power supply starts, the control signal is triggered, the pneumatic transmission system, the cylinder pressure decreases the welding head and presses the welding to trigger the ultrasonic generator to work, the ultrasonic emission and maintains a certain welding time to remove the ultrasonic emission and maintain a certain pressure time to decompress, and the welding head rises and ends.
3. Ultrasonic generator
(1) For large power ultrasonic plastic welding machine, the generator signal adopts phase-locked frequency automatic tracking circuit, so that the output frequency of the generator is basically consistent with the resonant frequency of the transducer.
(2) The generator used in the ultrasonic plastic welding machine with power above 500W adopts the self-excited power oscillator, which also has a certain frequency tracking ability.
4, ultrasonic plastic welding machine used acoustic system
(1) Transducer
The acoustic system of ultrasonic plastic welding machine consists of three parts: 1 driving part, 2 fixing part and 3 working part. In the above three parts, the driver is the core, generally adopts bolt clamping longitudinal vibration transducer, the half wave vertical oscillator with a quarter of the wavelength of longitudinal vibrator, half the wavelength of longitudinal vibration and the half wave shaped device connected to form a full wavelength plastic welding transducer, and the quarter wave vertical oscillator with quarter wave shaped device connected to one and a half wavelength transducer.
(2) tool head
Different tool heads are needed for different welding objects. Whether it is near field welding or transfer welding, only half wavelength tool heads can make the welding end face reach the maximum amplitude. Tool heads are available with and without amplitude amplification. Acoustical system tool heads used in plastic welding machines are usually made of aluminum alloy. Their end faces are coated with hard alloy. When the power is high, they are also made of titanium alloy.
